Race

The world of Lizard-Planets is populated by various Races & Species which resemble the Homo sapiens of Earth, but with physical traits from various animals, legendary creatures, and mythological beings. They can are considered humanoid.

Humanoid Terrans and Arians appear similarly to Earthlings, albeit with bestial ears and a non-prehensile tail (although some Terrans do not have either of them), as well as additional features based on their race (e.g. horns, feathers). They are better known on Earth as kemonomimi. Some humanoid Terrans have rounded ears in place of bestial ones. Some humanoid Terrans actually have two pairs of ears; the bestial ones and Earthling ones. Interestingly, all four ears are functional, but how this affects hearing is unexplained. Over 90% of terrans are not native to Terra, but Earth instead, albeit indirectly. All Humanoid Races are tied to Earth A race simply does not look like or have very similar physiology to humans if they aren't native to a very high ESI planet. Terra is crossed off the list except for the Sarkaz (Teekaz), so that only leaves Earth. It is very plausible that all races could be subspecies, like Neanderthals, or black people, having traits of where they evolved. Their physiology is meant for Earth, and the animal-like traits come from the Lizard's bioengineering, mixing DNA from animals from Talos-II, other planets, and Humans from Earth. Also, the Lung is based on Earth-bound mythology, implying a connection to Earth. Same with how they can speak English, and call themselves "Humanity." It implies a connection to Earth, stated or not stated, because it is simply implausible for an alien civilization to develop Earth-Bound physiology, culture, and real-world languages on another planet that isn't Earth.
