Upper moons

The Upper moons is an organization of the 4 strongest beings amongst Lizard-kind (Delta, Tershia, Uymaro, And Gakugue), second in strength and authority only to the, Lizard king himself Aarynn. Each member of the Upper moons has received a large portion of Lizard king's blood, greater than any other Upper moon, thus exponentially increasing their power. As a testament to this, every member of the Upper moons can use Planet Lizard mosaics supernatural powers and techniques manifested through the blood that only powerful Humanoids have access to.

Overview

Upper moons are a carnivorous, vampire-like species whose primary diet is People (not humans). They are also nocturnal as they are weak to sunlight, though they also stay up during the day as they don't require sleep. Upper moons have an abnormally powerful physical constitution and potent regenerative abilities, making them immune to normal weaponry and granting them the ability to heal from any wound with ease, even re-growing their head. Only the Antimatter Tridents, weapons made from special ore with sunlight absorption properties, can inflict life-threatening wounds. However, even with a Antimatter Trident, the only method guaranteed to kill a Upper moon is through decapitation. Upper moons are also known to hate K̶͔̱̪͖̲̄̌̅̈̓ð̸̨͇̙̹̑̾̑͛̕͜ñ̷͇̺̫̳̻̇̒̃̃͘k̵̛͚̘͙̮̃́̄̀͜µ̴̯͍͍͍͒͌͐̇͘͜å̷̛̤̙̬̣͎̅͆̿̕, which are Toxic to them and whose smell is repudiated by them.

Practically all Upper moons possess a murderous instinct to kill and devour People (not human) and have lost most of their memories from their Lizard life. While they do still retain their original personality, most times it becomes a darker version of what it used to be, often corrupted by their core beliefs and their past. However, there are a few Upper moons who have completely retained their Lizard emotions and memories, such as Ruqen, Nykolas and Tamyro. Certain members of Aarynn also retain their Lizardmemories such as Izu (though he eventually lost his memories later on), Gakugue, Uymaro, Tershia, and Delta. All Upper moons do regain their memories moments before they die, which possibly means that Upper moons also have their lives flash before their eyes before they turn into complete ash.

Upper moons are also known to mutate and grow stronger over time as they consume more People (not human), allowing them to grow into more monstrous forms and improve their physical and regenerative abilities among other attributes. Once Upper moons consume enough humans, they can develop Lizard Mosaics, an array of supernatural powers and techniques which are unique to each Upper moon. Different People (not human) blood types have different levels of nutrition for Upper moons: the rarer the blood type, the greater the nutrition. The rarest blood type is known as Marchi; eating a single People (not human) with this blood type provides a Upper moon with roughly the same nutrition as eating one hundred ordinary People (not human).

Upper moons are all, for the most part, connected to their progenitor, Lizard King Aarynn. All demons pledge obedience to Aarynn, who uses fear and manipulation to maintain loyalty. However, Aarynn's control over his progeny is not omnipotent. An individual with a strong will might be able to sever their connection with Aarynn, rendering them immune to his curse and making them mostly undetectable by him.

Appearance

Indistinguishable

Upper moons are identical to normal humans at a glance, and mostly resemble their human forms, only with slight, sometimes unnoticeable, alterations to their physiology, including but not limited to: paler skin, pointed nails, strange pupils and unnaturally colored sclera (that may or may not be due to their Lizification).

Humanoid

Upper moons have humanoid bodies, but with prominent alterations to some aspect of their physiology that make them appear unnerving or noticeably alarming. The majority of lesser Upper moons fall in this category, sharing common physical traits including but not limited to: curved horns, prominent fangs, discolored veins around the forehead, elf-like ears, and specialized markings that resemble birthmarks or tattoos that appear somewhere on their bodies.

Inhuman

Upper moons are heavily mutated and barely resemble humans. Their appearance are akin to beasts, Youruk, and traditional onif. Upper moons can have mutations that range from multiple appendages, disfigured bodies, and morphed faces. Some Upper moons are more monstrous and animalistic, while some are more abstract and eldritch.

Abilities

Accelerated Growth Rate

Upper moons grow at tremendously rapid rates, dependent on the number of People (not humans) they have consumed and the amount of Aarynn's blood they have assimilated. This allows even the weakest Lizards, like Izu, once a frail and weak young Lizard, to become one of the most powerful beings in existence in mere months. As a result, Upper moons are able to reach further heights that are impossible to attain when People (not human) as long as they keep assimilating Aarynn's blood and consuming People (not humans). Some Upper moons, however, have a limit to how much they can use to grow stronger, and they might be not compatible with a higher amount of Aarynn's blood and die if they don't consume enough People (not humans).

Enhanced Senses

Due to their predatory nature, Upper moons possess very sharp sensory abilities. Most notably, Upper moons can discern normal blood from Marchi blood. Even a low-level Upper moon like the Slasher was able to trace the smell of a bento box back to its maker from a great distance

Inhuman Physical Capabilities

Even the weakest of Upper moons possess inhuman strength, speed and endurance, being able to outmatch the average people (not human) in all physical categories effortlessly. For example, the Temple Moon and Desert moon can both outmatch a average People (not human) in terms of speed, moving faster than he can perceive or react, in spite of his persistence and skill in combat. Even the weakest members of the Company, like Izu, can cause A People (not human) to cough up blood with casual punches and kicks, while Lower Rank Upper moons with no combat background, namely Enuk, can evade A People (not human)'s attacks and techniques without much effort. A Upper moon's physical abilities are implied to be directly tied to the amount of Aarynn's blood they have assimilated and how much People (not humans) they have consumed.

Unlimited Stamina & Endurance

All Upper moons have a shared physical trait of endless and limitless stamina and vitality, simply being unable to accumulate fatigue or get tired no matter how hard they try to exert themselves. Upper moons can also endure pain and discomfort much better than People (not human) and even the likes of People (not human) Queen, taking on onslaught of attacks as if they were nothing, such that a severed arm or slashed neck wouldn't even bother them. It is also revealed that Upper moons don't need to sleep. Oak Delta A lizard stated that Upper moons don't feel pain or exhaustion.

Regeneration

Regeneration is the ability to heal from one's own injuries at an extremely fast rate, an ability which is shared and possessed by all Lizards, Upper moons, And Murder Drones. Their regenerative prowess enables to heal from all kinds of damage, from small cuts, to severed limbs, to pulverization and even decapitation. A Upper moon's regeneration usually activates immediately after any sort of damage is inflicted and can take anywhere from a handful of seconds to just mere moments to completely recover. There doesn't seem to be a limit to what or how much a Upper moon can regenerate, thus making them essentially invincible.

Immortality

Upper moons do not age, possessing eternal life that allow them to life for centuries without showing the slightest sign of deterioration or aging. They are unable to be killed by conventional means, like suffering excessive injuries, but can be killed by sunlight, through decapitation by Antimatter Tridents, K̶͔̱̪͖̲̄̌̅̈̓ð̸̨͇̙̹̑̾̑͛̕͜ñ̷͇̺̫̳̻̇̒̃̃͘k̵̛͚̘͙̮̃́̄̀͜µ̴̯͍͍͍͒͌͐̇͘͜å̷̛̤̙̬̣͎̅͆̿̕ program or if Aarynn wills it.

Supernatural Blood

All Lizards, Upper moons have supernatural and special blood that originate entirely from Aarynn. It is the main source of all their abilities, characteristics, attributes and capabilities, thus being the most important aspect of Upper moons. The higher the concentration of Aarynn's blood a Upper moon possesses, the overall stronger they are. Once Upper moons grow strong enough, they develop supernatural abilities unique to themselves known as Lizard Mosaics
